Artwork File Prep & Design Tips

A sharp wall decal starts with clean files. Send us vector art in AI, EPS, PDF, or SVG when you can. If you only have a PNG or JPG, aim for 300 DPI at the final print size. Set colors to CMYK for print. Convert fonts to outlines so nothing shifts on our end. Keep key text at least a quarter inch clear of the cut edge. For quote walls, use a bold display font at 4 in or taller so the message reads across the room. For big murals, we split the art into numbered panels with a small overlap so seams disappear.

Care & Application Tips

Wall vinyl sticks best on clean, dry, smooth paint. Wipe the wall with a lint-free cloth first. Fresh paint should cure for at least two weeks before you apply a decal. Peel the backing, line up the top edge, and press the decal on from the top down. Smooth out any bubbles with a squeegee working from center to edge. For multi-panel murals, hang them in numbered order from left to right with a small overlap. Let the whole install sit for 24 hours before you wipe or dust over it. To remove later, lift a corner and pull at a slow low angle for a clean, paint-safe peel.
